I have always wanted a photograph of an Eagle while its wings are open up, so I’m really glade I got this shot.

He was trying to shake himself dry after a dip in the water that is right under him. It was a really hot day….

My artist statement

The Laziness on a Warm Spring Day.

It was one of the hottest days this spring, and the animals were too hot to do anything.

On a day like this most animals would try to sleep through it

Others would take a dip into the water

Or find shades to hide in

However, some animals would remain stationary and resist the heat for the protection of their home.

But no matter what they do today, all of their eyes said the same thing…

“I hope today will be over soon.”
