hello.. i was wondering one thing, do u display your Figure on shelf or just let it display any area ? and u use what equipment to clear off the dust?
Both. I usually put my favor easy to clean figures around my desk area, and my others ones on the shelves. And for those that are REALLY expensive and hard to clean ones I put them in plastic see through case on my shelves.
My definition of hard/easy to clean are
easy to clean-
PVC figures that doesnt fell apart when you try to dust them. You can just use cloth or tissue to dust off the dust.
hard to clean-
figures that falls apart when you use too much force, like figma for examples. figure that has changeable parts or have joints are consider hard to clean to me since u have to be really careful with them if you dont want things to fell off and reassemble them again.
u usually clean them once per week or daily or depends? are the PVC easily attract dust?
honestly…I know people who clean them once a week, but i clean them once a month. The amount of dust depends on where u live, and how often do u open ur windows. I never open my windows so i can pull off dusting once a month, but if u opens ur window…you might want to do them weekly… PVC doesnt attract dust as crazy as most people believed. They are actually really easy to clean . Just wipe the PVC with cloth like i said before. you should also use canned air, which REALLY helps a lot.
Do u use a wet cloth to clean the figures or just dry tissue papers?
thanks in advance
I normally use dry tissues to dust them off. wet cloth is a bad idea since it makes the dust sticky if you dont whip them off completely.
